Interview with Jonathan Santagada

Conductor Jonathan Santagada talks to MOS Chief Executive Max Fane, about how he became a conductor, the MOS programme, and the training offered in particular to répétiteurs.


Most recently, Jonathan conducted Le Nozze di Figaro at the New Generation Festival 2019. He has an established presence with several of the leading opera houses of Europe including Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opéra National de Paris, La Monnaie in Brussels, Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro Regio Torino, Welsh National Opera and Theater Basel, and has upcoming engagements with both Teatro Real and Dutch National Opera.
